Overview

Our Medical Administrative Pathway provides students with the practical skills and healthcare knowledge needed to succeed in today's modern medical office. Students learn the procedures, technology, and communication skills employers expect while gaining experience with real-world medical office scenarios.

Tuition Flex Option:
$500 per month for the first three months

Refund Policy

Please review our refund policy before enrolling.

  • 100% refund if you withdraw before the first class meeting. 
  • 75% refund (excluding books and materials)
    • In class sessions: you must withdraw within the first four class sessions. 
    • Blended online or online class: you must withdraw by the end of the second week
  • No refunds after the fourth class session.

Prerequisites

To enroll in a Medical Career Pathway, students must:

  • Attend a Medical Program Orientation 
  • Successfully enroll in Healthcare Essentials as the first course in the pathway. 
  • Provide proof of high school completion (High School Diploma or High School Equivalency). 
  • Provide a valid Social Security Card and matching government-issued photo ID.

Healthcare Essentials

$60 (Book included in class fee)

This introductory course is a prerequisite for most of the medical programs at Vista Adult School, including Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, Medical Insurance Billing Certificated Programs, and Medical Front Office. The course consists of modules in medical terminology, computer literacy, health and safety, body structures and function, medical math, ethical and legal responsibilities, and success strategies.
