The high school adult program is giving me a second chance to finish school. With flexible classes and supportive teachers, I’m gaining confidence every day and moving closer to new opportunities.

I chose Vista Adult School for its affordability. Mrs. Malak is a very understanding teacher of each student life style. She spends time with individuals before and after classes. Mrs. Malak is really sure each student has a full understanding of the material.

I love the extreme flexibility of only 4 in person lab hours. That gives me the freedom to study and 1 pm or 1 a.m.

This phlebotomy class has been amazing. The teachers have been great and have taught me so many new things with a great explanation. I hope to soon have my license to be able to get a job and launch my future career. Vista Adult School has been a great place to learn.

I chose VAS because of the flexible hours and affordable classes/pathways they have to offer.  The program I am in is Medical Insurance Billing & Coding.  Taking these courses has changed my life by proving to myself I can do anything I put my mind to no matter how hard.

I love the Medical Assistant Class. It teaches you how to be prepared for the field and the teacher has so much patience with me. I enjoy coming to class and I’m glad I could feel comfortable and not afraid of asking for help or having questions.

I am attending VAS to learn more about quick books online and gain confidence in the operation of doing business accounting using QBQ.  The experience is very interesting and wonderful.

The Medical Assistant program has been a great learning experience. I’ve learned so many new skills I can use once I graduate. In addition, a good portion of time is spent working hands-on in the classroom's mock clinic. I had a fun time with classmates treating them as patients and learning from them. I hope to get a job as a Medical Assistant at Scripps after I graduate.

Our instructors are very welcoming and knowledgeable. I’m learning so much. This course really does make me feel comfortable and prepared to start externship. We are a smaller class, so I appreciated all the 1-on1 time our instructors dedicated to us.

I have learned so much from my amazing teachers, Ms. Mendina and Mr. Martinez. They have been so informative and are always willing to help and answer any questions students have.

I am currently working on obtaining my GED and taking prep classes with Vista Adult School. The teacher has been very helpful with instruction and other ways of helping. My classmates are very friendly and encouraging among each other.

A great addition to my daily life being retired! Learning new skills every class even though I’ve been cooking for years. Hoping to get a part-time job in a bakery in the near feature. So, having a certificate will be a plus in my favor. Thank you, VAS, for having this opportunity available to everyone.

I’d like to thank you for the valuable lessons in the second accounting course. This class has greatly improved my understanding of advanced accounting concepts such as financial statements and cost accounting.  I’m now able to approach my job with more confidence. The hands-on exercises and real-world examples have helped me to work more effectively and I feel more capable of handling complex accounting challenges. This is the 2nd part of this course and I have truly enjoyed and learned a lot from these courses. Mrs. Rogelia brings a lot of experience and makes learning fun.

Vista Adult School has helped me get back my computer skills after years away from the office. The staff are patient, friendly and so helpful! They make every student feel welcome.
